I facilitate and teach theatre workshops for adults and children from beginners starting out to professionals looking to brush up on or learn new skills.

My workshops are based on 2 years of extensive training at Ecole International de theatre Jacques Lecoq & Ecole Philippe Gaulier combined with a degree in acting for stage and screen and 10 years of experience working across a broad spectrum of theatre.

I aim to help you discover your true pleasure to perform. Stripping away the rules of conventional theatre to find your own wonderful madness.

The parts of ourselves we are trained to mask both in life and as actors can be our true genius as performers.

I believe that finding that fun, madness and purpose on stage is the key to making you the most exceptional performer that you can be.

Learning to enjoy yourself, embrace your audience and the overcome your inner limits. By overcoming these limits you are in a flow of energy which lets you perform with uninhibited fantasy and creativity.

I run 4 main workshops:

Mask & character – Creating Characters from scratch, finding parts of yourselves and develop them into well rounded characters. How to make a scripted character your own.

Clowning – Discover your inner idiot waiting to come out make a joyful tit of themselves. Here we will work on the comical body, recognizing and playing with the ridiculous and comical timing.

Improvisation & play – A series of workshops for all ages and abilities to come play games, create scenarios and devise sketches.

Crafting the mask & introduction to mask work (April 1st & 8th, 10am-1pm, Bristol)– Make your own theatre mask in the workshop and learn the principals of mask work and the role it has played in our theatre.
